A message from Tina:

Dear friends,

This year is already slated to be a very busy and exciting year! I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend an Applied Bioethics Summer Study at Oklahoma Wesleyan University in July, as well as attending a conference in San Diego in the fall. While I will not be able to also lead a mission team this year, I am planning a trip to Nicaragua to see several of the girls graduate from high school! While this will not be a traditional mission trip, I am still planning to do a project or event for the girls at the Emmanuel Home of Protection while I am there.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and  to keep oneself  unstained from the world.” James 1:27

“She  opens her hand to  the poor  and reaches out her hands to  the needy.” Proverbs 31:20

“learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.” Isaiah 1:17

Thank you for your prayers and for visiting my blog!

Gracias,

Tina
